Director, IIHR invites application from the elligible candidates for filling up of Technical posts at IIHR Headquarters, Bangalore and at its Regional Stations Chettali (Kodagu) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gonikoppal (Kodagu), Karnataka under the Administrative Control of I.C.A.R. The post are permanent and at present filled on temporary basis.
1. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)(T-6 (Soil Science): 01 Post(SC) for KVK, Gonikoppal (Kodagu), Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- Qualification: Master's Degree in agriculture(soil science), Age: 18-35 years
2. T-3 (Field Technician): 01 Post (SC) at CHES, Chettalli, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in agriculture/horticulture Age: 18-30 years
3. T-3 (Lab. Technician): 01 Post (OBC-PH) at IIHR, Bangalore, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in agriculture/horticulture
4.T-1 (Field Technician): 03 Posts (OBC) at IIHR, Bangalore and 01 Post (UR) at CHES, Chettalli, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000 Qualification: Matriculate with at least one year certificate in agriculture/horticulture Age:18-30 years
5.T-1(Tractor Driver): 01 Post (OBC) at IIHR, Bangalore, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs.2000/- Qualification: Matriculate from a recognized Board and Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from prescribed Govt. authority Age: 18-30 years
How to Apply: For S.No.1 Application forms is to be obtained on request from the Director, Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Hessaraghatta lake Post, Bangalore-560089. Request for application form should specify the advertisement no and post and should be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of size of 23X10 cms stamped for Rs.30/-. A candidate must submit along with each application a crossed DD for Rs.300/- as application fee drawn in favour of ICAR unit-IIHR payable at Bangalore (No fee for SC/ST candidates). Application complete in all respects should reach the Director, Indian Institute of Horticulture Research, Hessaraghatta, Lake Post, Bangalore-560089 within 45 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
For S.No. 2, 3, 4 & 5 (T-3 & T-1) may be made on a plain paper in the prescribed format duly supported by attested copies of educational/technical experience certificate etc. A candidate must submit along with each application a crossed DD for Rs.200/- as application fee drawn in favour of ICAR unit-IIHR payable at Bangalore (No fee for SC/ST candidates).
