GEOLOGISTS' EXAMINATION, 2011

 1. Geologist Group A : 300 posts in Geological Survey of India
 2. Jr. Hydrologists (Scientist B) Group A : 07 posts in Central Ground Water Board
 3. Assistant Hydrologists Group B : 30 posts in Central Ground Water Board

Eligibility Conditions: 
(A) Age Limits:  Not less than 21 years and not more than 32 years on 1st January, 2011. Relaxation as per Govt. rules.
(B) Educational Qualifications: (i) Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognised University or (ii) Master's Degree in Mineral Exploration or (iii) Master's Degree in Hydrology or (iv) Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.

Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. ( No fee for SC/ST candidates).

For remote area candidates, Offline applications can also be filled in the Common Application Form which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/-, and must be sent to the "Secretary, Union Public Service commission, Dholpur house, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier,  so as to reach on or before 26/09/2011.
