Central Police Forces (CPF) (Assistant Commandants) Examination , 2011 on 9th October 2011 for recruitment of 497 posts (BSF-111, CRPF-213, CISF-15, ITBP-36, SSB-122) of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Police Forces (CPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age : Not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years on 1st August, 2011. For age relaxation please see detailed notice.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
Physical Standards: As per standards. For details see detailed notice.
Sex : Both male and female eligible for appointment to CRPF and CISF. Only male candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, ITBP and SSB. NCC B or C Certificate-desirable qualification. Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs. 5400/-

Selection Procedure : Written examination will be conducted on 09/10/2011  followed by Physcial Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be condusted by UPSC. Apply Online at UPSC website, Offline facility is also available for some candidates and these candidates must apply in the Common Application Form which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country by cash payment of Rs. 30/- only.
Fee: Rs. 200/- in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFT) only (Rs.100/- if applying online - should be paid in SBI or net banking of SBI or by Visa/Master/ Debit Card). SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).
